13-15Corfe CastleCorFest08 - Corfe Castle's weekend festival in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck. A feast of events for all the family.
14-20WeymouthVeterans Awareness Week (regional flagship event) on Weymouth seafront and at the Pavilion theatre. Commemorations, celebrations, marching bands, parade, military vehicle convoy, veterans badge presentation.
15-12 JulyBridportTextile exhibition 'Painting with a Needle' at CW Groves Nursery on West Bay Road. Organised by a mother and daughter team who create originl textile pictures using a range of all freehand embroidery.
21HilfieldFranciscan Midsummer Fair at The Friary - a fun-filled day with displays, activities, stalls, food and entertainment.
21-22WeymouthVintage Bus Running Day.
21-22Maiden Newton'Maiden Newton at War' to be held at Greenford School and other locations around the village. World War II re-enactment groups, static displays and an outdoor Glenn Miller concert. Day tickets £5. Concert tickets £10.
22WeymouthClassics on the Prom - a static car display by the Jubilee Clock.
27WeymouthNational Veterans Day.
28WeymouthSummer Fayre at Holy Trinity CE Primary School & Community Nursery, Cross Road, Weymouth. Great family fun day out to include bouncy castle and other inflatables, whack a rat, coconut shy, beat the goalie, human fruit machine, hoopla, hook a duck, guess weight of fruit/veg basket, toys, games & books, and balloon modelling to name but a few. Also a bumper raffle and refreshments available. Fancy dress parade. Starts midday and finishes at 3pm.
28WeymouthWorld Tour Biathle at Greenhill Gardens.
