1BlandfordEnglish Mozart Ensemble is proud to present an evening of operatic arias and more at Blandford Parish Church. The ensemble is joined by two exceptional and internationally renowned singers, who have performed principal roles at the Royal Albert Hall, English National Opera, English Touring Opera and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Together they will be singing some of Mozart's most enduring and well-loved arias and duets, alongside the timeless Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, and Sarasate's outrageously virtuosic violin showpiece based on melodies from Carmen.

2WimborneSounds of the Glen Miller Era at the Tivoli Theatre. Recapture the sounds and memories of a bygone era as the Nick Ross Orchestra recreate the classic big band sound of the 1940s.
2-3Litton CheneyGardens open at The Old Rectory to se the snowdrops flowering. Open 2pm to 4.30pm. Adults £3, children free.
8-10BournemouthSci Fi Ball - a charity weekend being held at the Carrington House Hotel on behalf of the MacMillan Cancer Unit at Christchurch Hospital.
9Wyke RegisFossil Walk. Meet at the end of Camp Road at 2pm. The walk will look at the fossils of Pirates Cove and is approximately 2 miles long. Wear wellies.
9Lyme RegisBon Giovi play at the Marine Theatre on Church Street from 8.30pm. Bio Giovi are a live, five-piece band - an excellent night out, especially for Bon Jovi fans.
9-30 AprAbbotsburySpring is Here at the Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens. Magnolia, camellia and spring colour.
14Frome St QuintinThe Dorset Collection at Lesley Waters Cookery School at Chantmarle Manor. Surrounded as we are by the very finest ingredients, the Dorset Collection features Lesley's favourite dishes celebrating the very best of local Dorset produce.
13-16WimborneWimborne Drama present 'The Talented Mr Ripley' at the Tivoli Theatre. Shows are at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets £8 (£7 concessions Saturday matinee).

16-24BournemouthIt's Hollywood Week at the Bournemouth Oceanarium. Along with a glamorous red carpet reception, visitors will be welcomed with a whole host of fun activities including 'famous fish' tours, a 'walk of fame' quiz trail, face painting, a Hollywood themed craft activity and special Spongebob Squarepants themed 'meet the creature' sessions.

24WeymouthNature trek at Lodmoor RSPB Nature Reserve from 9.30am until 11.30am.
24Lyme Regis'Potted Potter' - the unauthorised Harry Potter experience - a parody by Dan and Jeff. All the Harry Potter books in sixty minutes at the Marine Theatre in Church Street.
