3	Dorchester	BBC Flog It! at The Dorford Centre, Bridport Rd, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1RR. The popular BBC2 antiques programme, Flog It, presented by Paul Martin, is coming to Dorchester. The Dorford Centre will be hosting the Flog It Valuation Day. Rather like a treasure hunt, members of the public are invited to bring along the antiques and collectables they might be interested in selling. Once valued, the owner and team of experts decide whether it should go forward for auction. If the item is chosen it is sold a few weeks later - often with the owner making a tidy sum. Everyone who goes along to the Valuation Day will receive a valuation - even if their antiques are not chosen to go forward for auction. From 9.30am until 4.00pm. The auction will take place on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 at the Duke's Saleroom, Dorchester and will be broadcast as part of the ninth series this year.
4	Broadmayne	Gardeners' Question Time at Broadmayne Village Hall, Cowleaze Road from 6.30pm. Panel includes experts in gardening from Mapperton and In Arcadia Garden Design. £3 a ticket if ordered from Katie 01305 215 315 or £4 at the door.
6	Poundbury	Mah-Jong Workshop at St John Ambulance, Bridport Rd, Poundbury, Dorchester, DT1 2NH. A fun and informal workshop from 10am to 3.30pm. Suitable for both beginners and more experienced players. Tickets £14 to include refreshments, ploughman's lunch and tuition.
6	Wimborne	The Wimborne Book Fair at The Allendale Centre, Hanham Road, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 1AS. Quality second-hand books for all tastes and pockets, from light reading to collectables. 10am - 4pm. Free admission.
10	Bournemouth	TV's Around-the-World Trader comes to the Village Hotel in Bournemouth, Dorset. Business Link in Dorset is bringing Conor Woodman to business owners in the county to present his unique insight into what makes the world of commerce go round. Free event.
12	Bridport	Instant Wit at Bridport Arts Centre - improvised comedy at its finest! An evening of songs, sketches and general silliness, all based around audience suggestions. Join for the workshop at 6pm or the show at 8pm Call box office (01308 424204) for further details.
13-21	Bovington	Half Term Fun at The Tank Museum. There will be 10 activities to take part in for all the family to enjoy. Visitors will be able to see the world's best collection of tanks, and join in our free Top Ten Tanks Tour. Tank history trails will provide our younger visitors with a fun activity that will teach them about our collections and 20th century history. In The Trench Experience, a World War One Tommy will explain why the tank was invented, and a World War One tank will be open for visitors to explore. In the Discovery Centre, visitors can learn what life is like for tank crews with our 'Cut in Half Centurion' exhibit. Elsewhere on the Museum floor, tank model makers will be demonstrating their craftsmanship, and there will be opportunities for visitors to join in and make models of their own to take home. There will also be the chance to experience the thrill of riding in a tracked vehicle first hand, in a military machine that has been converted to hold up to 16 at a time - so the whole family can jump on together (extra charge applies). Normal entry fee applies.
14	Wimborne	Massed Youth Bands In Concert at Layard Theatre, Canford School, Wimborne. A chance to listen to the talent that the youths of the area have in this concert with a grand massed band finale.
14-19	Lulworth	'Circus Skills' Children's Half Term Fun at Lulworth Castle. Have a go at juggling, plate spinning, fun stilts and lots more. The effervescent 'Fiery Jack' will host this family fun circus skills extravaganza with his own unique juggling talent. Open 10.30am to 4pm. Event included in normal admission price. Under 4s free. 18	Kimmeridge	Goldilocks - Hand to Mouth Theatre - at Kimmeridge Village Hall, Kimmeridge. The well loved tale of Goldilocks, with extra drama and humour stitched together by traditional glove puppetry and live music. Suitable for 4-8 year olds and families. Starts at 4.00pm.
